Key Trade

After buying and receiving the display, I spent a lot of time doing research all over the net. I ended up doing a lot of that research among the various display groups on facebook.

During this time, I was actually selling keys I had for the Original Xbox Kiosk, when a user from one of the groups reached out wanting to buy one. However I recognized this user as being someone who had posted some info on the Virtual Boy Display in the past. So I asked if they had any possible leads on a key for the display I had. They responded by telling me that they could go and make a copy for me!

I took them up on the offer and we exchanged Keys. I sent them one of the OG Xbox Kiosk Keys, and they got a copy of the Virtual Boy display key and sent it my way.

It was an awesome feeling, getting the key and having it not only fit, but also actually work. What was also awesome, was the surprise I found inside it!

Afterwards, I decided to start looking into possible replacements for the nut caps, as they were very rusted.
